Low Pass Filter Order
- a number describing the highest exponent in the numerator or denominator of the z-domain transfer function of a digital filter. For FIR filters, there is no denominator in the transfer function and the filter order is merely the number of taps used in the filter structure.
- Low altitude run over the targeted area. May be used by air attack or lead plane to get a close look at the target or to show a tanker pilot a target which is difficult to describe. May be used by tanker pilot to get a better look at the target or to warn ground personnel of an impending drop
- (of a filter) Transmitting all frequencies below a certain value
- All signals below a given crossover frequency. If a crossover frequency is set at 16,000 Hz, for example, the low pass is everything below 16,000 Hz.
- A low-pass filter is a filter that passes low-frequency signals but attenuates (reduces the amplitude of) signals with frequencies higher than the cutoff frequency. The actual amount of attenuation for each frequency varies from filter to filter.
WHISKEY 1446-FRONT--NO DECAL
This is a pic of the front without the decals applied. The switches move from side to side since this seems to make switching easier when the amp is mounted under a radio.
The first switch on the left is main power. Whe the amp is turned on the first large red LED lights up to indicate power is on. The second switch operates the rx pre amp. The third switch operates the low pass filter. the last one switches the amps operation from class ab to class c.
When the amp is operating and modulation is put into it, the top leds light up with modulatiopn/power. Basically as you modulate the led bargraph lights up from left to right. This works exactly like a led power meter on a radio. Its definatly not meant as an exact measurment of power/modulation... but it gives the user a good indictation of how the amp/radio system is working. It lets you see any modulation problems immediatly. It does look pretty cool at night. In the past I have built one of these with all blue or purple LEDS. The only reason I used these color leds is because the blue and purple ones are still on order from overseas and haven't come in yet.
I have also used Blue lighted switches in the past but these take up more room and I had to save as much space as possible with this one..
You can get a good idea of the height of the amp in this pic. It is only 2 1/2 inches tall.
The decal hasn't been put on the front yet since they are not back from the printer yet.
